VVS Laxman Visits Uganda U19 Team’s Dressing Room After India U19’s Dominant Win Over The Opposition

Former Indian cricketer and current NCA head, VVS Laxman, paid a visit to the dressing room of the Uganda U-19 team and had a chat with the players, the African nation’s social media handle posted pictures of the same.

Laxman traveled to West Indies with the Indian U-19 team as part of the coaching staff. Taking to Twitter, Uganda Cricket Association posted pictures with the captain:

India defeated Uganda by a whopping 326 runs in their third group game courtesy of twin centuries from Raj Bawa and Angkrish Raghuvanshi. The former notched the highest score for India in the U-19 World Cup, going past Shikhar Dhawan’s previous highest of 155 against Scotland back in 2004.

The Indians managed to post a total of 405/5 before skittling out their opponents for 79. The match was played in great spirits as evidenced by Laxman’s visit to the dressing room after the match.

Up next for India is the quarterfinal where they will face Bangladesh, who defeated them in the final last time to win the 2020 U-19 World Cup.
