By Pramod Madhav: A senior member of the Hindu Makkal Katchi was hacked to death by a gang of assailants in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai on Tuesday night. The accused fled the spot after committing the crime and are absconding.
Late on Tuesday night, Manikandan, the south district deputy head of the Hindu Makkal Katchi was hacked to death. He was stopped by a group of men who then hacked him to death and fled the spot.
Police are on the lookout for the absconding culprits who are yet to be identified. Further investigations are underway.
