Legendary Indian cricketers reunited on a tennis court on Thursday as MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar joined hands for an advertisement shoot. Dressed in casual t-shirts and track pants, the two iconic cricketers shared a tennis court.

Photos of MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar playing tennis for the advertisement shoot went viral on social media. Tendulkar and Dhoni were keenly listening to instructions from the advertisement shooting crew under cloudy skies on Thursday.

Tendulkar and Dhoni are two of the most-loved cricketers in India after having contributed so much to the sport in the country over the years. And both the players’ love for tennis is well-documented. Only recently MS Dhoni was spotted at the US Open along with another legendary Indian cricketer in Kapil Dev, watching Carlos Alcaraz, the eventual champion, in action.

It was one of those rare trips from MS Dhoni to a Grand Slam tournament but Sachin Tendulkar has been a regular, especially on the grass-courts of Wimbledon. Tendulkar has visited the All England Club in London quite a few times to catch his good friend and arguably the greatest tennis player, Roger Federer in action.

On the other hand, MS Dhoni has been trying out other sports ever since he announced his retirement from international cricket in August 2020. Dhoni played golf recently at an invitational tennis tournament in Gurugram — Kapil Dev – Grant Thornton.

In 2019, Dhoni was spotted enjoying golfing sessions with his former Chennai Super Kings and India teammate Kedar Jadhav.

Dhoni will return to competitive action in 2023 as he will lead the Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming edition of the IPL. CSK may not have reached the play-offs in IPL 2022 but Dhoni showed flashes of his vintage self, scoring 232 runs in 14 matches.

Sachin Tendulkar, meanwhile, featured in the Road Safety World Series tournament in September and led India Legends to their second successive title.
