Earthquakes in Turkey, Syria LIVE Updates: Over 1,900 dead in ‘biggest disaster since 1939’

More than 1,900 died in Turkey and Syria after several earthquakes jolted the region. Monday’s earthquake was one of the strongest in region in nearly a century. Turkey has confirmed 1,121 deaths, while Syria confirmed another 783 fatalities, putting the toll at 1,904
Here is what we know so far:
-An earthquake of magnitude 7.8 hit Turkey on Monday and tremors were felt across the border in Lebanon and Syria. The quake was centered north of the city of Gaziantep in Turkey in an area about 90 kilometers from the Syrian border, with a 6.7-magnitude aftershock striking 15 minutes later.
-Just hours after the first earthquake, Turkey was jolted by a fresh temblor of magnitude 7.6 on Richter scale.
-Visuals from Turkey and Syria shows buildings tumbled in several cities due to the earthquake.
