VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd.: VE Commercial Vehicles sales grow 32.1% to 7181 units in January 2023, Auto News, ET Auto
New Delhi: VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 7181 units in January 2023 compared to 5434 units in January 2022 recording a growth of 32.1%. This includes 6992 units of Eicher brand and 189 units of Volvo brand, the company said in a media release.
The Eicher-branded trucks and buses recorded sales of 6992 units in January 2023 compared to 5325 units in January 2022 representing a growth of 31.3%.
In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks and buses recorded sales of 6791 units in January 2023 as compared to 4523 units in January 2022, representing a growth of 50.1%.
In January 201 units of Eicher branded trucks and buses were exported compared to 802 units in January 2022, representing a decline of 74.9%
Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses recorded sales of 189 units in January 2023 compared to 109 units in January 2022, representing a growth of 73.4%, the company said in a media release.
