2022 KTM RC390

KTM India is planning to launch the new-gen KTM RC390 soon as it has listed the bike on its official website. KTM will update about the RC390 official launch by the end of March and thereafter start with the deliveries.

The 2022 KTM RC390 gets a new ultra-lightweight trellis frame claimed to improve stability and control while saving 1.5 kg compared to the previous generation model. Also, the new frame is said to improve the overall stiffness by providing enhanced compliance and rider feedback when pushing the limit on twisty mountain roads or at the local track.

The new KTM RC390 features new lightweight wheels (reduction of 0.8 kg of unsprung weight) and lightweight ByBre 4-piston-fixed callipers with 320mm front and 230mm rear disc brakes.

The motorcycle uses the same 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which churns out 44bhp and 37Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox, however, KTM has worked on its final-drive ratio. Some key highlights of the 2022 KTM RC390 are IMU-based electronics, adjustable riding dynamics and TFT screen.

KTM RC390 price is expected to be around INR 3 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). When launched, the 2022 KTM RC390 will rival the TVS Apache RR310 available at INR 2.60 lakh and Kawasaki Ninja 300 which costs INR 3.37 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom, pan-India).
