KTM India has confirmed the launch of KTM RC 2022

KTM India has confirmed the launch of KTM RC 2022 via its social media handles, While the company has not disclosed the launch date, we expect this new model to arrive in India this December. it was unveiled in August this year and is already available in international markets. However, the India-spec model could be slightly different from the international variant.


The 2022 KTM RC 390 gets a major styling makeover, the new model features a semi-faired front fascia, And it sits on a steel trellis frame. The updated design brings a single-pod headlight, The front fascia also features fairing-mounted rear-view mirrors and an updated turn indicator setup. Other updates include a sharper fairing design, a 13.7-litre fuel tank, a redesigned tail section, side-slung exhaust and a Bluetooth-enabled colour-TFT display, transparent windshield, a split-style seat.

The Bike is available in two colour options.

The 2022 KTM RC is powered by 373 cc, single-cylinder with a liquid-cooled system that produces 43hp and 37Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed transmission which features a slipper clutch mechanism.


2022 KTM RC is now more focused on rider’s safety, The braking setup includes a 320mm single disc with a radially mounted four-piston-fixed ByBre calliper at the front and a 230mm disc brake with a single-piston fixed calliper at the rear. It also features Traction Control and Cornering ABS with SUPERMOTO mode.

The international-spec model is equipped with compression and rebound adjustable 43mm WP APEX front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The India-spec model, however, may miss the suspension adjustability function for the front forks.


The pricing of the new KTM RC 390 is not been officially announced by the company yet. However, the price tag that could be very close to the old motorcycle’s Rs 2.78 lakh (ex-showroom) level.

The KTM RC 390 will compete with the TVS Apache RR 310, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Bajaj Dominar 400.
